Hahnenkamm-Race
The famous Hahnenkammrace
The Hahnenkamm-Races are the annual races, held since 1931 and a fixture of the men's World Cup since its inception in the 1967 season. The “Mausefalle” (mousetrap) is one of the most exciting jumps in ski racing, seconds from the top of the course. The competitors reach high speeds quickly out of the starting gate on the Startschuss and fly up to 80 m (262 ft) off the steep jump.
2010 Didier Cuche from Switzerland won the Super-G and the Downhill race. Felix Neureuther from Germany won the Slalom and the classical combination won Ivica Kostelic from Croatia.
